Solid wood, all the way through. Case, dividers, shelves. Same hardwood top to bottom, inside and out. Flip it over and you'll see the same grain as the front face. No veneer hiding a particle board core. No MDF anywhere. That's how you tell the difference.

Two pieces of wood that lock together. One is already built into the back of the shelf. The other mounts to your wall with two screws (included). The mounting holes are spaced 16" on center. Standard US wall stud spacing. Both screws go straight into studs without drywall anchors. Hang the shelf onto the wall piece and it locks flush. No brackets, no visible hardware. Once the wood-grain screw covers press in, the only thing you see is the shelf.

45 lbs per tier. 135 lbs total when mounted into a stud or with a properly rated drywall anchor. That's enough for a full lens kit, a stack of cameras, coffee bags and your cup collection, hardcover books, ceramics. Whatever you'd put on a wall shelf and then some. Mount it right and it'll hold what you put on it.

The walnut we use is hand-selected for character. Expect grain variation and small knots. The kind that show this came from a real tree. If you want completely uniform grain with no character marks, maple or black oak is the better fit. The rustic walnut is for people who want the wood to say something.

Rustic Walnut is warm, dark, and full of character. Each piece is its own. Best if you want a shelf that looks lived-in.

Maple is pale and uniform. Ambers slightly with age. Best if your room is bright or modern, or if you want the shelf to recede a little.

Black Oak is dark and steady. Even grain, deep contrast. Best if you want a strong statement piece on a light wall.

All three are the same price, so pick the one that suites you. The wood you pick is about the room, not the budget.

Drywall anchors are not included. Most installs don't need them. The two mounting holes are spaced 16" on center, which matches standard US wall stud spacing, so both screws can go directly into studs. If you can't hit studs (concrete, brick, or unusual framing), use a 50 lb+ rated anchor for your wall type. Wall thickness and material varies. Pick the right ones at your local hardware store.

We'd rather you choose the right anchor than ship the wrong one with the shelf.
